Does the drag link on a 80 connect to the tie rod, like this? (pic is zook)

Ah, ok that makes sense. Tie rod runs along the back of the axle.

Yep, the wheels are connected to each other from the rear rod. Steering arm comes down to one wheel at the front.

80 series tie rod/drank link
