Hi all,

Can anybody tell me the correct location and angles for drilling oil holes in the 4.4 block to supply oil to 3.5 rockers

Thanks

The location you can get from the Rover head gasket, for the rest contact Darren at: McNaughton Engine Reconditioning at Cardiff NSW.
Ph: 0249501640

He did mine several years ago and knows all there is to know about P76 engines, he builds hill climb race engines out of them.
Just in case you are unaware, the rover head has an extra mounting bolt hole, so the P76 block will need to be drilled and tapped to accomodate them, I was told that it wasn't necessary but had it done anyway. I also put a high volume oil pump and a high torque cam in as well as having the heads machined and the block decked. If you have the heads machined and the block decked you may have to have the inlet manifold machined the same amount to allow it to fit correctly.
Hope this helps,
Casey

Ken, also try Toorak tractors and Crankshaft rebuilders.
