snorkel hole size

Post by mattlux »

I was just wondering if someone knew what size the hole has to be in a gq guard for a safari snorkel?

Im pretty sure its 90mm. You need a really long pilot drill as you need to drill at right angles to the guard.

Yeh i already have ahole there with a safari on it, but looking a making a stainless one, so i need to know what size it is to see if a 3inch rubber 90 will go through without making the hole bigger in the guard.

You will probably need to elongate the whole to fit the 90 bend through it.
