I did have a problem with mine a while back where the tail lights and dash lights fuse would blow just out of the blue. I did a lot of checking and found in the end it was the number plate light bulb. The glass has come loose from the base and must have created a short from time to time. It took years to find it and was really a fluke in the end.

If it is just that fuse blowing and nothing has been modified then check all your bulbs (tail, number plate and parking), trailer plug if you have one and finally the dash. If you have a serious short it shouldn't be too hard to find, something intermittant is a real mongrel though. I'm not sure why the ignition would have an effect on this fuse though........
