Have any of you guys ever seen a 2.8 GQ auto ?

Never heard of one from the factory no.
But u could possibly do one. Was there a 3L Petrol Auto? the 2.8L Diesel uses the same manual trans as the 3L petrol motor, so if the 3L petty came in auto, u might be able to hook that box to it if you wanted to have a go.
