Decided to ask this just to see how often you change you engine oil, after all it's the life of the party, the engine that is, and if it don't go either do we.

For a simple $35-50 oil and filter, how often do you change you oil and what oil and viscosity rating do you use?

2 petrol engines. Every 10k km, or after a big trip in the 4by.

Typically, somewhere around 20W-50, whatever grade is specified in the manual - SG?

Dohc V6, I do oil and filter every 10k. Mobil 1 5W50, comes out basically the same colour it goes in. Now that I have another vehicle it'll prob be every year. (5 -7k)
