average commodore can get from 13-17l/100 depending on driving style (mixed city/hwy) and as low as 8L/100 on the open road. Commodore weighs ~1700kg

And a GU has the aerodynamics of a barn door compared to a dunnydore

Ive got a VR 5.0L with a VP computer and loom in my GQ wagon with a 5 speed, i get between 5.5km/L and 7 km/L mixed. Im thinking a GEN3 may get a bit better, but if you are figuring on similar economy in the GU compared to a commodore it dosent work like that, if fuel economy is an issue than you may want to think about LPG as well......
