was wondering on thbest setup,for engel, iwas gonna change the wire from engelwire connector to 6mm wire. ended suffin up the 35 dollar plug, so thinkin from batt to run a 8ga wire with fuse to back cabinwith anderson plug,so then only haVE TO CUT THE OTHER ENGEL CABLE.that comes off the fridge at pronged end and fit a anderson plug on that. this englel cord is only 16 awg and 2mtrs will there be a problem fron bigger cable to this smaller one, . the way i stuffed theother female connection is because as the other cable it had 16awg wire on it too and i though to have 6mm right through instead of joinin 6mm to16awg 10cm from (sealed) plug,i think engel sould sell heavier cable on their connections,so no1 has to go through this hassle. please expand on this anyone; thanks :x

The bigger the better as far as the cable goes. 8Ga would be good for your fridge, compressor, and a 300 watt inverter in the back of the vehicle. Go with the small Anderson connectors as they have a large amount of surface area and are self cleaning, and fit it to the engel lead stub.

Batt==fuse=======(Anderson conn)====Anderson conn---Engel conn-fridge

8Ga wire ======= can be done as one run to rear, one "Anderson to Engel" lead, (and one Anderson to Anderson "extension lead" if needed).
