Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey guys just quick q, i here alot of people putting ls1 into there patrols and it seems a common mod for more power but just woundering was the carby gearbox in a 1989 patrol any different to that of the efi or diesel engines and can the manual box from the carby engine take the power of the ls1 ok?? and are there plenty of conversion kits for this??

4.2 carby manual boxes are very tough and would have no issues.

3 litre on the other hand would probably struggle.
