SAS hilux help needed...

Ok I've decided to go ahead and do a solid axle swap on my IFS lux. I will need to get someone to remove the IFS and refit the new solid axle so if it is to be an affordable exercise I need to source all the bits necessary myself and have them ready for the workshop.
I'm not looking for any extra lift BTW. I love the flex out of my rear springs and would like to match that up front.
The problem is I'm not exactly sure what I need to get As far as I know I need:
1. A solid front axle. OK, what year models are suitable? What is the best? Is there a particular year model that is "the best ever"??? I think I will be getting one off a mate but will keep my eyes open for something cheap or extra good....
2. I want to put IFS rear springs up front. Are early 4runner rear springs ok?
3. Spring hangers. Cheapest option???
4. Wheel spacers to match the wider track of the IFS rear.
5. Crossover steering setup. Will I retain my IFS power steering box??? Where to buy steering and how much??
This is about where I run out of ideas. Over the next few months I want to get all the bits together to do the job. Can anyone who has been down this road help me out with what is needed???
Cheers.
