charged battery, tried 2, even booster jumped off 1, turn the key, nothing............ release the key....... 'click'.
Does this have something to do with the starter motor or the flow of electricity itself, and, how do i overcome this delema to get ignition.

smack the starter with a lump of wood or a hammer if that gets it going, the starter is rooted.

otherwise check the wire running from the battery to the starter is secure, and there is no water/mud/other shit stuck in the little rubber cap on the starter end (that could be shorting to the starter body).

Other wise check that when the key is in the start position there is power going to the thinner wire on the starter motor. if there isn't any power there, then it's probably the starter relay/fuse or a wire somehwere along the line. you can get it running though, buy getting 12 volts to that terminal by other means

of course this assumes that ignition ciruit other wise works normally (ie you get lights on the dash)

Try posting in the Auto electrical thread but it sounds a bit odd to me, nothing on turn key and click when released.

hmmm

try arking the starter motor...I had a starter motor that was tempremental shall we say.

A quick ark across the connections (I generally used a D shackle) and started the truck that way.

This is a pain in the ass...but at least you will know if there is power going to the starter.

get abit of long metal tube and a hammer have some one turbing the key and you hitting the starter motor at the same time

Sounds like the started motor is farked..
