Have just purchsed a GU patrol which has the Mannel 5" Extreme lift kit. My question is in relation to the disconnects for the rear swaybar. Do i only unpin one or both sides. If both are unpinned, will the swaybar not rotate and point towards the ground.

Also how much pressure is required to reinsert the pins

Cheers
George

Dont you just stop at normal ride height, and then re-insert the connectors?

Would be the most logical way.

yes, it will just swing towards the ground. You can tie it up or ziptie it so it doesent dangle asmuch.

and

if your swaybar is bent, it will be a right pain in the arse to get the pins back in.
you have to find unlevel ground to sit the car on and insert the pin.

OR, make up a lever to slide onto the end of the swaybar to lever it into place.

OR, straighten your swaybar.

disconnects on a megalift will be snake, they should be reconnected at ride height, but they tend to be difficult at the best of times, it usualy needs someone to have a swing on the side of the car with somone else with he pin ready

plenty of people I knopw with tem just dont put them back in unless they are doing big road trip

agree, get rid of them altogether and drive slower round corners!

I don't run any sway bars. I could hardly tell the difference when they where in or out.

I have the snake racing disconnects and it was quicker for me to remove & refit a sway bar than what was to try and reconnect them. Thats why I just leave them off. LOL

Cheers Mick.
