Is there much differance changing them over from a hilux ? Thats the only model in the bible, if so anyone got a how to on a Sierra ?

Thanks heaps any info would be appreciated.

Should find it's pretty much common sense if you've done any mechanical work before.

It's been a while since I've had to do a CV, but you'll work it out pretty quickly. The hardest part if you haven't done one before is convincing yourself that you can do it.

Sorry can't help much more than that, coz I've never done one on a Zook, but they are nice and small and should be pretty easy to work on. :D

There are 2 ways.
1. take of tyre then free wheeling hub undo the nuts that hold the bearing in and then brake caliper pull of the brake and hub assembly undo the 6 or 8 bolts that hold the outer axle and backing plate and spacer then slide of the CV then slide CV out.

2.Take out the 4 bolts that hold your steering thing onto the top and remove take care not to damage the shims then undo the bolts that hold the knuckle seals it then sort of slides out at an angle. You can only do it this way if you have enough play in the flexible brake line that comes of your diff to knuckle this way is quicker once you have it down pat and you dont have to retension your wheel bearing but you do have to get the bearing that your steering sits on back in.

Someone can correct me with parts names etc as i just went for it and put it back how I found it
