Its a big job for someone who has never touched an Auto before. It comes out through the front of the Box. You need to Remove the Pump and all the Clutch hubs, Drums, Sprags and everything else that is in there. Its not a job i have ever been game to attempt on my own. I have a mate that does them for me up here. My suggestion is to take it to a trans place and get them to do the job. If you turn up there with a box in pieces because you cant put it back together it will end up costing you more.

I just striped a electronic verson of the t700 (vr) to put in the shorter output shaft, it is a big job (im a heavy duty mechanic) and next time i would pay someone else to do it.

Does any one have any info on The 4l30e or t700?? Im after a pic of the balls in the main valve body, I had 7 balls but it looks like there should be 8. I put it back together with 8 but its still playing in the back of my mind wether it is right or not.

What he said, take it to your local auto specialist, it'll only cost 100-150 buckaroonies
