Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys just a few questions about 3or 4 link setups on the rear of the hilux.
I was thinking of going with a 3 link with coils on the back of my dual cab.
where have you guys mounted your lower links on the chassis,i have been told to run them straight onto the factory spring hanger. but it would make them a little short in my understanding?
i was going to use heim joints at the chassis end and rubber bushes at the diff end.
Any pics or advise would be great.

Can't help you with info, but will be reading the responses carefully as I'm looking at the same conversion.

heim joints will get flogged out pretty quicky if you use them as a daily driver, then there is the comfort part aswell. put new mounts on the chassis end (using the 80 Series lower mounts it look good)

it is a bit off topic but it has a small amount in the middle about using 80 rear lowers and hangers

other than that dobbin engineering has the parts for the A frame uppers.

PM lukes4x4... He's done a coil rear conversion (and just finished the front). he doesn't get on very often though, so you might be waiting a bit...

mount the lowers on the horse collar crossmember, but make sure you brace it. Use the nissan trailing arm bushes for joints, they flex good and are much cheaper than hiems. you can see how ive done it here...
