body lifts are a good cheap way of lifting a car but they do cause a pain in the ass with having to mod shifters and such, i would suggest suspensino lift instead

The air bag sensors are in with the CPU.
In theory, a body lift should not affect the operation of them.

I had a BL done on my 2004 GU, but I had the air bags disabled.

He'd be better off just putting in a 4" lift and run 36" tyres. A lot less hassle, plenty of room and can run std bars etc.

I was actually talking to my engineering in Sydney this morning about doing a body lift on my old mans GU wagon. It turns out that you cant body lift anything built after January 2000 as it interfears with ADR 69 which is front impact rules. I thought it was BS but that is the case and the only way one can be correectly and legally signed off is if you put the vehicle thru a full front impact test. The old boy isn't real keen on smashing his truck into a concrete block for some strange reason so it wont be happening now.
Im putting the flame suit on and preparing for people to tell me how wrong I am but this is straight from the horses mouth. Its not that he is hard to get along with neither he has recently signed off on my 4 runner with the V8 and 2" body lift.
