Hi all
Thought I had better ask before pulling it out.
Are the sills for a sliding window setup in the MK the same as the ones of a solid window setup in a LWB MQ, as have pulled to solid window out of the MQ hoping it will go straight into the MK.
If not are the mods hard to do please??????

Hasn't anyone taken the sliding windows out of the side rear of a LWB and replaced them with the solid ones??????
Just don't want to rip them out to find out that the sills for the rubbers are way diff and have to change toooooo much is all

lots of people use perspex guys, make a template and then go get it cut and stick it in. Lighter than glass anbd you can get different colours(shades Eg. already looks tinted)

I have had sheet purspex cut to shape and used clark rubber rubber n a bit of sealant before - worked out just fine for me....
I got loads of rear slidin windows sfor shorties in perfect nich but it seems the LWB is harder to get these days - they did come out with solid rears and its an easy swap - about half an hour for 2 people to do the swap with factory gear as long as seals not too perished etc.

Thanks Patroldude.
I wasn't sure if the metal/sil that the rubber goes onto was the same for the solild windows as the sliding windows. I've already gotten the solid ones out of an 83 MQ LWB, but didn't want to rip the ones out of the MK if not similar. The rubbers seem fine to me and in OK nik, but will most prob use some sealant as well.
