Here's what's on the farm ATM
NL Paj 175000 - getting tired, using and leaking oil now, ticks on idle from time to time - getting worried about its future and repair costs mounting(auto shit itself, cost 2 K to fix)
VL Dunnydore speedo may have stopped for a while, reads 250000 plus, no problems at all, slight lazy lifter, goes like stink. Can't kill it.
Disco 1 200000 plus, flogged mercilessly off road still goes fine, bit of a tick at idle in the 3.5 gas guzzler. NOTE: NO OIL LEAKS!
40 Series millions of K's, re-built motor at 450000 or so, leaks like a sieve still going strong.
Ford BA Waggon, 27000ks, getting a tired feel already, auto gearbox very clunky, suspension crashes and bangs, engine rattles when started. Fleet car so who cares!
87 Rodeo, Izuzu diesel, 400000+ ks, had an oil change 5 years ago, CVs stuffed, still goes though!

91 NH SWB with 335,000 and running sweet. Only dramas I,ve had were caused by the previous owner who sent it to the cheapest bloke he could find to re-ring and reco the heads. The bloke did a super crap, first day hair dresser apprentice in an auto shop job of things, but after replacing one head and a good check over the rest is sweet enough.

yeh NJ paj shorty 3.0L V6, i think about 229,500. Still going really good, really efficient, doesnt leak any oil, havent had many full on problems, starting to blow a little smoke, valve seals havent been done....and prob wont be for a while.
think ill wait it out 12 months and possibly rebuild at about 260,000. Just before our trek around this great land of ours, atleast ill know everything has had the once over. Best pre trip service iv ever heard of.

NH swb, 265 000km, bit noisy when cold, bit smokey when idling for a while. No plans for rebuild, will wait 'til it won't start. Regular oil and filter changes make a big difference.
