I got a new battery for my '89 Lux and my brother replaced some of the cables as they were a bit worse for wear, and now the parkers stay on constantly.
Not sure what he did as I wasn't there when he did it but need to know what it could be.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

i think the problem might be with your brother...
but exactly which cables did he replace? the main cables to the bat or some smaller cables within the engine bay?

A couple of the smaller cables to the battery, might have to get him to fix the bloody thing himself

Inadvertently bypassed the switch and wired them straight to the battery maybe?
It might be worth following the cables he replaced and see if they go to the parkers.

Cheers, I will check that when I am able too, I shouldn't let him near the keys of the thing
