Outer Limits 4x4 Board

G'day all,

got my 88 rangie 2 days ago, only problem is it doesn't have keys... and there is no way of getting any.

So I was going to pull the front door lock out (interior panel is off already) and take it to a locksmith and get them to cut a key to suit.... But what are the chances of the barrel being the same?? This car is full original so none of the locks have been changed. I assume the tailgate lock is a smaller key and I'll have to pull it out and do the same??

Generaly one key. The Tailgate is also the same key. It just doesnt go in very far.

My '88 RR has just the one key fits front doors, rear tailgate and ignition. When I got the car the passenger lock had been changed so key did not fit, so I pulled the barrel apart and made it fit. No idea as to whether it is the same as other doors, but the one key works the door now.

Early RR's the tailgate key was different, but yours isn't early
