1.0 litre diffs can be replaced by LJ diffs.
Lj diffs come in 4:6 and 4:9 (I have these).
The front and rear of LJ's are interchangeable
(I used 2 fronts as they were less used)
front LJ diffs bolt straight in to Sierra 1.0 front housing.
But on the rear, the Sierra axles are larger, so need to re-use Sierra side gears or just change ring and pinion over to Sierra centre.
I go my diffs from suziworld in Heidleberg Victoria, but most zook wreckers would still have some.

Most I paid was $120 each, but the last one only cost $85.
I find it difficult doing work on diffs, but I have very few good tools.
But I manage.
If you have a work bench, a good clamping system and good tools, its probably easier.
I used the entire pinion and housing from LJ, then used my sierra centre with the ring gear off the LJ (good idea to use matching ring and pinion for wear reasons). Doing this negates the need to extract pinion from housing, a bit easier.
Theres a few threads on this subject, try see if search can find them, christover

Also the bearing housing clamps, that hold centre to housing must match the housing, so re - use which ever pinion housing clamps, and on there correct side.
beyond this you'll need diff experts input, cos I'm a bit ruff, and you may want yours set up nicer
