I am looking for any info and help on turboing a 1600 efi vitara motor. I know there are a few out there but interested in some pics of the set up and also how it was done. I am going to us a T25 but am more interested how the compression was reduced and how reliable to conversion has been. I am not trying to build some insanely undrivable piece of crap, thats why I will get it right first time....

Second question: I am getting diff oil running up the air lines of my arb lockers and hense blowing out at the compressor when i disengage the locker. Is this common? It doesnt seem to be a problem but it leaves a sh*t load of oil every where. Any thoughts??

I run a t3 on a standard g13 never lowered the compression and still going allright just intercooled and fueled generously.

Sorry, can't help you with the Turbo stuff, but, this issue with the air lockers used to happen to me shortly after they were installed. I took the car back to ARB and they squirted some compressed air down the air lines to clean them out... Once this was done (i.e. the lines were cleared of all oil), they have worked great again. However, i seem to recall reading that it could also be a sign of a seal not working correctly? Do a search in General 4x4 tech on air lockers - you should be able to find the post i was refering to - Airlocker Failures of something like that.

Cheers
