at the show, all-terrain4x4 had one for $2200 fitted (incl LED brake and indicator lights). And they guarentee it will fit twin 36's and will not break with these on it. You had to pay deposit at the show. However, if you give them a call on monday or tuesday and talk to them and just say didn't have dosh at the show or whatever they may extend the offer.
Seems the strongest (and closest to reasonable price) that i've found.

This is the sort of rear step fitted on the 4wd monthly GU buildup at the show.

Cheers
Matt

PS. this is part of my huge bill from the show, should have it fitted in a few weeks.

2 blokes in our club that are REAL offroad tourers that go where nobody has been for 50 yrs type touring making fresh tracks etc have had issues with chassis rails breaking completely in 1/2 above the diffs.. one has had his re-enforced, and still cracked again.. :( Trev put it down to the rear wheel carrier and the weight out the back flexing.

Another thread recently on EO from some other dude with similar issue, but he wouldnt expand on it...

Both have since got rid of their dual rear wheel carriers. 1 is running 285's other 315s.

Another 2 blokes have the All Terrain one - both happy, both havent been touring yet with theirs on

Just to vouch for the strength of the All-terrain 4x4 rear step

I should also point out that if you look at the drivers side driving/fog light, just above it and to the right you will see a hole in his bumper. This is where my exhaust went THROUGH his bumper.
I feel sorry for the guy for some reason. although the :bad-words: was travelling down the bus only lane, i changed lanes after it ended and well you seen the rest.
