Has anyone here fitted an LS1 with a 4L80e mated to an LT230 using a marks4wd adaptor?
if so did you have an clearance issues with any of the following?
1. Transmission tunnel problems?
2. exhaust header clearance problems? i am looking at using a set of aftermarket headers for the exhaust system- but i don't want to shell out $1200US to find they don't fit!
did you have any problems with the marks4wd kit? are there any other options?
thanks guys
Jim

thanks for the reply.
FYi i'm in the UK so everything LSx related is expensive here :(
it's more a problem with CATs. Over here we have to pass something called SVA whcih is a pretty in-depth test- my car will require CATs if it has an LSx but i really don't think CATs and off roading will mix very well- one hint of water in the CAT and it'll be shot. FLP make replaceable CATs that you can take out to go off road and then put back in for tests and the like. Expensive yes, but solves a huge problem for me.
