what air cleaner
what air cleaner
i have a gq patrol ute with a td42 and after market safary turbo i have lust fitted a big top mount and wanted to no what air cleaner box i can use as the factory one no longer fits any ideas???
I made up a box out of ali and fitted the biggest K&N I could. Positioned it behind the headlight so that the snorkel fed straight into it. I then go pipes made out of 3" exhuast tube to conect to the turbo. This was with a safri kit on a GQ.
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)
mine is similar except it is a pod filter inside a metal box. also with pipe connecting it and mounted behind the light next to snorkel hole
works well and made a huge difference over the old setup

either 2.8 lt, 3lt or 4.2 will do!
I put a 2.8 one on mine! ( had to cut off the bit with the air flow meter)
Snorkel straight out of the guard & into air box!
