I have just brought a 91 nt feroza after selling my sierra, and have to sets of wheel+tires, being 30s and 31s i was told that the 30s should fit without any problems but to fit the 31s all i need to do is extent the shackles and wind the front up. How far do i need to extent the shackles considering my rear leafs are in quite remarkable condition (not flat yet), will 180mm hole to hole do it then i just wind up the front and away i go or is there gonna be other problems that need sorting. I can get new shocks etc later as i just want to get one set of wheels on so i can piss the other ones off. Sorry if this question is a little played out.

if your not gonna be doing much wheeling then i'd go 30, got 31's on mine and I felt the difference when I come to a hill. Now the front is locked its even worse, now have to find a way to increase tourque so I can retain its offroad capabilities.

Have you checked the tyre width, and how much room you have to play with on the inside of rear wheel arch and front turning circle?

If the Feroza is a 5 stud 5 1/2" PCD (my memory is shot) you may want to check out the offset on some F150 rims to bolt on it then the tyre should fit fine....

I have 30"s on mine. Definatley a bit of a drop in torque, made up for itwith a 38 Webber and new muffler. But ........ I want to go all out for of roading only and put on 33's, now I have seen them on some local suzuki's but not sure how they effect the CV joints etc...

The suzuki's have different gearing combinations available whereas Feroza's pretty much don't.

The can use different diff ratios easily, and use different transfer case gears. A lot of them also dont have stock axels over here that are running 33".
