TD42 clutch

how much would a repllacement clutch be for a TD42 Gq?

How much for a reco clutch, or get mine recoed? and what kinda k's could i get outta one (currently at 322 thou)?

And how much for a new one?

Just did one using a standard daiken clutch for $330. Brand new clutch, pressure plate and thrust bearing. $58 to get the flywheel machined to my door.

If doing it yourself i highly recommend just taking the engine out.

It had 270k on it

thanks, nah i wont be doing it myself thats for sure, dont have the means nor can be bothered with that heavy ass gearbox.

How is the daikin clutch?

a drive in drive out price you would expect to be arond $1000
depending on what type of clutch you get fitted :!:

just like the standard clutch. I found that after cleaning in rebuilding the master and slave cylinder makes the clutch a lot lighter

had mine done on my td42 mav at 400000 was $330 for the clutch and i droped it off at hightech 4x4 in penrith and it was another $500 in labour. feels great dont remember the brand of clutch think it was from repco.
