gday,
my battery went flat the other day and after swapping in a charged one,
the glow plug timer has started playing up.
it only leaves the glow plugs on for about 5 sec or something comapered to the 15 to 20 it used to do.

is there some kind of adjustment i can make on the relay or do i need to replace it?
cheers

the left kickpanel is your glowplug timer you should be able to do it there with a screwdriver

dominic you cant adjust the timer you can only check that it is operating. grab yourself a workshop manual and a multimeter and then you can check the whole system , glow plugs, timer, relays(two of them mounted on inside of drivers side gaurd) water temp sensor, manifold temp sender unit etc. its not at all difficult just time consuming but at the end of the day youll know whats wrong and not just gueesing. plus youll have the satisfaction of knowing you can do it yourself, and it didnt cost an arm and a leg at your freindly diesel mechanic
