what model Vitara has VSS in speedo?

I bought a cluster off a member off here a while ago that was out of an EFI vitara......Haven't needed it till now so I pulled it apart tonight and there is no VSS unit off the speedo...........can you say waste of money!!!!
I need a VSS unit so I can get the engine up and running and the gearbox shifting right...
What Vitara cluster has the VSS unit?
Is it only the MPI vitara's or is it all the EFI models?
