is it possible to fit GU 16x8's to a 75 series cruiser?

Post by mlowe76 »

Hi all

I was just wondering if it were at all possible to fit gu 16x8's to a 75 series ute?

Does anyone know if say a small 5-6mm wheel spacer would do? or do I need to go more than 5-6mm ?

Which might result it in being cheaper just to buy some cruiser rims instead?

Problems I have are:

1) I have GU rims 16x8's with some pretty damn good 265/75/16's on them
2) I have a 75 series
3) I'd rather get some 5-6MM spacers if suitable as I know a mate I can permanantly loan a set off :)

Thanks in advance

Matt

I think the offset is wrong and they'll foul on the front...

Not to worry I ended up doing a deal to swap my 16x8 GU rims for brand new landcruiser 16x8s from a local tyre shop for $15 a rim, yep, a measly $15 per rim to upgrade to new rims.
