gu ute, 2 seats to 3

just took the passengers bucket seat out of my ute and replaced it with a 3/4 seat out of a dx, mines a st,,, only problem i have now is , i had to remove the centre console completely. At first i thought i would get away with just taking the rear part of the console but had to remove the lot to fit the seat in. has anyone else done this to their ute, do they make a console for the ute with three seats , any info would be appreciated....

I have the 3 seat DX and there is no way anything would fit between the seats.
I just throw everything behind the seats

done the same to my st, only thing you'll fit is the gear stick cover.

you can purchase a centre console that sits on the centre part of the seat when not in use from consoles.com.au ( department of car interior ) .
have you still got the passenger seat and centre console , are you interested in selling it as i am interested in making mine a 3 seat to 2 seat .
