Mooses latest mod

just swapped tyre carrier from RH side to LH side !!
to help with weight distribution !!
also angled the mount , so I can fit my 33" on !!!!
will take pics later !!!!
BUT HOLY CARP.................33" looks big on the back of a Zook !!!!

Holy chit it actually holds? When i had the pissy little 215/75 on there it ripped a split beside the hinge and snapped a tyre carrier in half. Good luck

dont have a roof , so no need to open tailgate !!!
(contemplating bolting it shut !!!)
reduced visibility ?? thats what mirrors are for !!!!
splitting tailgate , its plated with 3mm behind !!!!

i ran a 33 for over a year on the back door had no probs with it ,now im just trying to figure out where to put a 36in spare

Hey moose how did you go with this set up? Did you do much reinforcing?
Im thinking of putting my 33 in the middle but everyone says it wont hold.

on top of the tailgate , it is already a double skin panel !!
on the back , inside I,ve put a 3mm panel , that fills between the end of the tailgate & the 1st suppurt brace !!
no props yet !
only done 2 trips !!

Seriously though so you just plated the inside, any sign of bending?

i work nights , so dont get to go drivy drivy very often !!!
but when i do.................................
my latest mod.......................more panel damage !!!
(but it did make it easier to straighten the steering arm (with an axe !!)

Looks like you tring to drive 2 wheels ontop of the rut or whatever it is, there seems much less interesting lines available there.

I know how you feel moose I worked nights for 5 years then went to days but every weekend. So I told them wheeling comes first ( and family? ) they didnt agree so I got a new job normal hours plus more money!!
