would certainly be the way to go, alot easier than sourcing all the shiat yaself.STUMPY wrote:Yes i have, i made a whole run of mounting brackets for them.
I've since parted out my hilux and still have all the disc brake gear left ove if your interested. $350 for axles, rotors, calipers, brake lines and mounting brackets.
Cheers Joel
Call me stupid - why do you need axles? DO the std ones not work with disk rear?STUMPY wrote:Yes i have, i made a whole run of mounting brackets for them.

yeah but it'd save you having to separate the other drums etc i guessbenhl wrote:Call me stupid - why do you need axles? DO the std ones not work with disk rear?STUMPY wrote:Yes i have, i made a whole run of mounting brackets for them.

i think stumpy would just prefer to sell the diffs complete rather than having to strip them and try to sell a diff with no brakes.Roctoy Designfab wrote:yeah but it'd save you having to separate the other drums etc i guessbenhl wrote:Call me stupid - why do you need axles? It's just a pain stripping down the drum brakes off the axles. I did it and repaced the bearings at the same time. The diffs isn't complete, ie. no housing but everything you need to do the conversion.Shadow wrote:i think stumpy would just prefer to sell the diffs complete rather than having to strip them and try to sell a diff with no brakes.Roctoy Designfab wrote:yeah but it'd save you having to separate the other drums etc i guessbenhl wrote:Call me stupid - why do you need axles? The links that people have posted above give details as to what is required.jessie928 wrote:
