				cleaning/painting intercooler

				okay
so i got the intercooler
its pretty dirty and scrappy looking
Just wondering what should i do to clean it up a little
inside and out
what should i use
what paint should i use\

				I would try a diluted hydrochloric acid mix and see how it goes. Increase the strength if it doesnt do much the first go. make sure ya dont get any inside though.

				don't paint it just clean it up, yeap hydro' acid diluted mixture sounds the go for outside, maybe for the inside block off one end and half fill it with degreaser, then swish it around and shake it up and down, then drain and give it a good rinse with water

				there is an alluminium oxidiser, i think its CT16 or something, i cant remember the name, ( i am trying to visualise it on the shelf) the liquid is  bright pink 
thats the stuff you need, it will bring it up like new. Dont paint it.

				For the inside, I used petrol in mine, swished it around and empty it... repeat a few times....
Then metho to dry it a bit... or acetone if you can get it.
So much junk came out
