How hard is it to plumb in a second LPG tank?

As the fuel guage is done on pressure (I assume) does it stay accurate regardless of how the tanks are configured?

My 60 series, which I have just sold had 2 gas tanks.
Fillers are tee'd together, AFL valve shuts each tank off when filling individually.

Outlets are again tee'd together but with a hydrastatic tee (built in relief valve) then runs up to the engine as your existing system does now.

Gauges work on the level of the gas in the tank (fluid). So if you wanted to know how much is in each tank you need to run either 2 gauges in the cab or a change over switch to select which tank you wish to read. I found that 1 tank tended to empty before the other.

This is basically the set up that was in my 60 and it worked well, there is probably other set ups around, hope this is of some help.

Will depend how you want them set up.
With mine, they are filled individually and joined with a Tee on the converter side, I can switch from one tank to the other as required.
Once one tank is empty and the other opened ( full at this stage) the full tank "1/2 fills" the empty tank !!! . The reason for this is that the Tee is not a "oneway valve" and the gas trys to escape wherever it can. So once the 2nd tank is empty I switch back to the first which is now 1/4 full and the "refilling" of the other tank begins, what ever the volume of gas in one tank is, once its opened 1/2 the volume goes to the empty tank...... rather interesting when ya on the dregs of lpg and about to run out !
Last time this happened we had 70k's to go to a fuel stop and I was switching between tanks every 5k's or so....we made it but only on pure vapour !!
