MQ Transfer Q

Is the transfer case on an MQ Diesel box the same as that of a petrol MQ? Ie can they be swapped easily.

Same transfer
There is a differance between the 4 spd transfer and the 5 spd transfer but they can be interchanged with minor adjustments.

Well im pulling a transfer off a 4 speed petrol and puting it on my 5 speed diesel, cause its noisy and finally jammed up. What minor adjustments would be needed? Thanks.

Anyone? I cant afford to have my car off the road more than a weekend, so need to be prepared???
