GQ speedo correction

Just bought a GQ with 1/2 worn 35's and 4.11 diffs.
Do the GQ 5 speeds have a cog on the cable for the speedo like the old Holdens used to have? If so are there interchangeable ones that would get my speedo back to or close to correct?
cheers, sudso

i think that all GQ are electronic speedos... i could be wrong.
but with mine... i brought a marks adapters speedo corrector. Couldnt be easier to install, plug and play basically.
If you wanna save some coin and you've got a bit of knowledge, go to jaycar and buy a speedo correction unit off them, like 30 - 40 bucks.

my speedo isnt even out by 10 km @110 so why would you bother
if you are like every one i know and do 10% over anyway just means you do exactly what the speedo says

Nissan provide a selection of gears for the speedo to correct various wheel sizes. There is also an ajustment behind the speedo face.

I'll check it with my brother in laws GPS and see how much it's out 1st.
35" tyres is nearly 13% larger than the stocko 31's so I'm guessing my speedo will be out by 13% too
eg: my speedo says 100 but I'm actually doing 113 in theory but I guess it depends how accurate the speedo is to start with and the actual diameter of the tyres.
Got an inspection coming up for the mods so they'll probably test the speedo too.

When I sat on 100 the GPS fluctuated around 109-110.
If the 35" tyres were new I'd say the GPS would read about 113.
There's not many tyres that are exactly the diameter written on the sidewalls though, usually smaller.

I'll pull the speedo out and have a go at that

With 33's mind 100 % acurate speedo to GPS. I since had it recalibrated for 35x11.5 simex (35.4"). Took it to auto sparkie how tested and corrected it and provided a cert to keep engineer happy all for about $80.
