With all the SCAT'ing going on at the moment I thought I'd jump in while the topics hot and ask some questions.
I have the opertunity to pick-up a F55 SCAT pretty cheap, diesel 2.5 I think. There arnt many parts that I can use for my Rockys but i'm desperatley after some diff centres for my rockys so I can start playing with making some air-lockers.
Long story short... does anyone know if the F55 diff centres are the same as the F75?
Hilux axels, MQ axels, cruiser axels I know, I know. I like taking the road less travelled.

Also any one else interested in any other parts if I was to get it. I'm in S.A. The body and brakes are stuffed. Engine runs apparently.

Any help appreciated ;)
Cheers.

It was said on here that F20 centres fit into your F75 also, if that helps.

Slightly different ratio I believe, gonzo's page at
http://www.gonzo4x4.be/the%20Taft/gears.htm
should be able to tell you all about that, also I have a feeling that they went from 29 splines to 30 at some stage too, or maybe it was 28 to 29, but I'm not sure about that.
I've got my cv's of my f50 out at the moment and I'll count the splines on the shafts if it helps.

Cheers for that link.

If you can count the splines that'd be great too.

Thanks for that HotFourOK. I didn't know that.

Hmmm, im starting to think I might need to ring the guy up with the scat and see just how much he wants for it.

Cheers.
