My partner came home with a nice early xmas present for here self this morning a shiny new (to her) 92 swb vitara, so now we have 2.
I have great plans for it but she doesnt want to know about them all she wants is to fit my old 30s on it, so i reakon a 50mm sus lift and 30mmm rear+15mm front coil spacers should do it. Any thoughts?
For some reason she is opposed to body lifts so this is not an option. She will also use it almost entirely on sand tracks.

i wouldn't be lifting the suspesion more than 2" due to the angles of the front CV's and the tailshaft angles, though the front diff can be lowered to counter that

Fair enough. Would just the 50mm lift clear the 30s or wolud a small body lift of say 1" be required.
I have a 2" lift on mine + 50mm sus lift and that cleared nicely but she is quite against body lifts for some reason.

you could possianby fit them with some panel work and some bumpstops

Sorry for butting in, but did you say you have a 2 inch body lift on your Vitara? If so, could you tell me where you got it from and what sort of hassles were there in installing it? I have 30" tyres on my Vitara with an approx. 50mm sus lift and have found that there is too much scrubbing going on.

Any help would be great, cheers

The 1" bodylift should do it with the suspension or a little bit of hammering and trimming will get you there instead.
