Hi all
I'm looking at getting a snorkel for my 80 series Turbo Diesel and have been shopping around and found some Airflow ones on ebay for $295. Has anyone purchased, fitted or got one of these? If so are they good quality?
Cheers
Simo

they are similar to a safari snorkel - rotomoulded plastic - the ones that i have seen have all fitted up to the fourbies well and seem on par with durabilty as safari.

There is a good reason why airflow snorkels are cheap
because
there finish is crap
there fit is crap
and the template they give u is pathetic
My mate who used to work for Opposite Lock fitted a airflow to my 100 series.
He has fitted heaps of snorkels , the snorkel to hours to fit cause the template was so dodgy the holes where a mile out.
It looks alright but wh has some mucking around to get it to fit.
I would spend the extra $$$$$ on a safari or a airtek

Dont know much about airflow brand, but they look like the old bullbar bob coppies of airtech that were sold from wollongong some years ago for $230.
The airtech ive seen is a 2 piece job, with an s pipe inside the guard...more chance of leaks when you dont want them...safari r the best finish, lets face it, most want it to look half descent, and flow without too much restriction....thats the other thing about Safari, they are the biggest on the market i know of....now, i do know a guy who makes a schmick snorkel out of 4 inch pipe, it comes out of the top of the guard up near the screen....i would have one if i were in NZ....he custom makes them.
Any1 want to post a piccy for me??i dont know how
