AAARGHHH Land-Rover Electrics!!!!

Post by ISUZUROVER »

I am currently tearing my hair out trying to get the electrics sorted for WA rego inspection... Vehicle is a 110 county isuzu with air-con. Remaining jobs are windscreen washer and demister.

Washer: The switch (on the stalk) works fine and so on into the dash, but no power when it comes out the other side. The manual says there should only be one combined fuse for (front) wipers and washer (which is fine) - is this right??? I am on the verge of just running a new wire for this as I have the dash half apart and still can't trace the wire.

Fan/blower for heating/air-con (and most importantly demister - which they do check). Again the switch has power, but I have tried bypassing the switch and still nothing. Anyone know how I can test the fan itself directly, as finding out what goes where with the county air-con/fan system is a nightmare...

Thanks mate, I might take you up on that. Up until now I have been using warm clothes as a heater (heater is fine, but no heat without air) and a rag as a demister, but I don't think that will fly with the rego inspector...
