are you letting the glow plugs warn up. if you are you moght not have enough compression ei your engine is worn how many k's are on it

Yeah the glowies are warm, 204,000km, compression just checked before the turbo was installed. I may explaining wrong, Even if the truck is warm I turn the engine over for a few seconds and then quickly let the key release from start posistion and straight away turn the key to start and it fire instantly............Dazz

What is your crank speed like ? This often happens when the engine is cranking to slow.

It is an electrical problem, had this on mine.

Well thats interesting cause I am also having a problem with HIGH oil pressure. Is it possible all this is related to the Turbo that AXT installed . It is due for the 1000km Turbo check soon....................Dazz

how oil is in your sump check it if it over filled or wrong grade of oil eg to thick it will have trouble starting. be get turbo jackaroos in at work that wont start if we use the oil speciefied. they can be really hard to start

Ruggers... that have something to do with mechanical injection they have on the new ones? Coz i enquired with a guy at work about the dual batteries and he said it was so there was enough power to get the plick turning over with the mechanical injection.

its more to do with the lifts hydrlic lifters not liking the thicker oil.
