400 bucks
lockright lockers for front.. i thought it ws rather cheap as some rip off merchants want 800 in AUS for them.. i was looking at importing one but the shipping and so on would cost more than this..

Just make sure you are comparing the same lokka as there is a differance between some of them.
Something to do with Detroit vs the 4wd systems one.
Someone on here will be able to tell you the differance.

fark yea thats even cheaper probably because i got mine through calmini they must have put there mark up on it or something, i got told to put it in the rear over the front of course its going to be better to have both but if you can only have one (poor cheap student) i put it in the rear or my vitara also another reason is because it will blow cv's up front, they are fantastic (takin it offroad this sunday
) there a little noisey going around corners too slow and you get a little bit of clunking and clicking but its not too bad you get used to it i suppose
sweet good luck

They have been cheap from the states for ages. When i got my detroit ez-locker and rebuilt the rear diff as well (only needed bearings
) at the same time, it only set me less $400 from ordering to driving on the road
While i would like to support Aussie shops, $$$ talks.
Layto....

yeh i am thinking of one for the front and then save up for an ARB/TJM for the rear. its my daily driver and i drive lots for work so i dont want it clicking like mad all day..
mroffroader - can you give us the details of the NZ guy. calmini put me in touch with the AUS supplier but he didnt stock them or something...

Mine dont click or whet ever untill i turn into the drivway with the clutch in!
Every know and then if you exalurate out of a gear change quickly it will bang but thats it.
I would get an lock rite for the rear(Very fun in the wet!) And a tjm/arb for the front just so you can steer!
My 2c worth!

I was quoted $230 (AUD) + $20 (AUD) postage from Roadless Gear for the Detroits when I was visiting in the USA in August.
BTW - What's required for the front diff in post 89.5 model Sierra's? Do you just need the 4 pinion carrier and use your old sidegears and ring gear?
Cheers
