I'm currently running 4" springs with 2" body. The springs are sagged pretty bad. have been in car for about 3 years. I wanna go 6" springs for more clearance to fit bigger rubber. Currently has 3 degree castor plates, lengthened trailing arms, adjustable panhard arms. Just wondering on what has to be changed or just get new springs?
Whats the go with engineering? I have made my own seat mounts and fitted VS SS commodore seats in the front. Just want to know what needs to be engineered so i don't get into trouble with Mr RTA and Mr Police.
Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

if your 4inch springs are sagged, putting new ones on will lift it quite a lot more than you remember. mate just fitted 2inch leaves to his lux, and it lifted it bit over 3inches since the old ones were phuked.
4/2 is a good combo for even most comp people for 36's with a bit of trim, spacers to move diff forward etc...
... more often than not its weekend wannabees that go with more.

springs are cheap if you know where to get them to just replace 4's with some hd ones my lovells have not seeminly dropped a bit in 40 000...
and if you want to further upgrade later sell them to help fund new ones remembering new shocks blah blah all the gear..
take you an hour or so to put new 4's in so get into it....

This could be aimed at me, but it's dead right. I need to drop mine about 3" as its way too unstable. Expensive mistakes I made when I didn't know any better! It's going to cost more money for me now to drop it back to a total od 6" to run the 37's. thanks for all your comments. and your all right. the springs i have in it were soft so it would articulate more. i'm going to go for new coils and leave it at the height it is. i've already cut guards and could fit 36" swampers under it with only SAGGED 4" coils.

If you want performance then lower the better. If you just want it to stand out then go higher!
I have 3" springs but with the reduced weight it sits about 4" so I'm going back to a lighter 2" spring and will just cut the guards more if I need to.
