Hey All,
Just weighing up fuel economy of the Jackaroo LWB, both older SOHC 3.1L TD and the newer DOHC 3.0L TD. I can't find any solid figures anywhere - if any owners, past owners could please quote their L/100km for city/highway and/or combined, that would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Jayden

3.0 TD's get great fuel economy, cause they blow up and sit round for ages getting fixed. Dont use much fuel then.

I get about 12-14l\100km combined. This is in a '03 3.0td, Lift, bullbar, draws and fridge, on 32x11.5s. This is worked out with a GPS to cover any speedo inaccuracy. Uses a little more in city cycle but not a lot of difference.

14l-15l/100 km standard 2000 3.0 se auto jack with roof rack and 255/70/R16 BFG AT all round average.
12.5-13 l/100km without r/rack.
On a big run 300km+ highway taking it easy can get down to 10.5 - 12 l/100km.

Fitted free wheel hubs recently, economy looks to have improved a bit. Getting around 10-12 l\100km. Haven't done any more accurate figures as yet.
