Just wanted to know what people think is better.
2" extended front shackles with shackle through the frame.
Or standard shackle mounted under the frame on the front of a hilux?
l have rears up front with 2" dropped front crossmember, 1" forward.
Also how is the caster after you mount your shackles under the frame?
Matt

Re: front spring mounts or extended shackles?
Ive got the extended shackles, they make the flex alot better, mounting the shackle mount under the chassis and using a standard shackle is alot more legal though.Frankenyota wrote:Just wanted to know what people think is better.

If your running 2" dropped front mounts with the standard shackle at the rear you will have close to no caster or it may even be positive at the moment, moving the back of the spring down 2" will put this back to factory specs.
