Hi to all just wondering if anyone has cut the rear quarter panels -lower- on a rangie from the lowest point to the rear bumper , my questions are
did you remove relocate or modify the mud flap holders ?
did you re-enforce the panel afterwards , if so how ?
im not scared of a grinder but measure twice and cut once is my motto , so look foreward to all replies cheers :P

I will get some pics of mine, I have an old bumper of Sam O (Strange Rover) which has all those things done and is a good rear protector.

I will dust off my old digital cam and try to get them done tonight for you

Yeah that would be great thanks ! Thats the idea i have been looking into as i fairly belted my bottom rear quarter and it looks fairly ordanary now and i would prefer to make a steam pipe / shed 40 set up for added protection , then will be some rock sliders with hi-lift mounts and recess for a foot up .
I rather like the set up on the RR of Mike Smith"s comp car yummy and having said that , he fairly belts it so it can't be too bad a set up ?
once again onya for the pic's mate ;)

Was going to do something about my back panels, but after disfigring them severley, I couldn't give a shit!!!!

That will change when I get Aquarangie back from the smash repairs this wek. I guess I will have to make up some after all. Test out my poor welding skills again!!
