Have Clunking sound coming from the front left wheel on the 80 series
While at fraser about two months ago I could heare a load clunking sound coming from the front left wheel. The sound was when the wheel bounced hard in the holes through the inland tracks or while driving over some of the timber boarded tracks. (sounded like it was going to colapse or fall off.)
Just wondering if it would be the kingpin bearing or something like that. I'm pretty sure its not a CV as it doese not have a problem turning.
I can not get it to make the sound on road not matter how hard I drive it.
The only way I can force the sound is to drive off a gutter pretty hard.
Anyway going back to fraser at christmass and want to get this sorted before my wheel colapses on an inland track miles from nowhere.
Any sugestions appreciated
