I was lookin at a mates 100 series the other day and noticed that the plates on the end of the cv on the front have 10mm studs like the rear ones do..
I'm interested to know if the end plates will fit on the 80 as long as i put 10mm studs and dowels in it?>??

100 Series end plates on 80 series??

Ive been playing with this for a few weeks...did ua know the spline count on a constant 100 is d4rnt to an 80......bloody party pooping Yota...now i have to put the whole show on....100 brakes, hubs, wheels and c/v's...
The PCD of the studs is a few mm bigger aswell.....suggest you drill out your hubs and plates for a set of 100 studs (selling on ebay at the moment)

Bugger now i'll have to do it the hard way.....
the worst bit is drilling the "cup's" out.. is there a special drill u can buy to do this???
The only way to drill out out of centre things is wth a miling machine and cutter. i might jsut stick 100 series part time hubs on it.. sounds like the easiest option
80 serries hubs studs are on a 90mm PCD and 100's are on 92mm just enough to s**t you. I modded my hubs on a milling machine to of set al the holes 1mm to fit 100/78 series FWH on my 80ute. Have modded 75/80 FWH to suit the bigger studs/dowels with a special cutter i had made up for this job on hubs and rear axles so the collets seat properly. I had my hub studs done front and rear for the 100 series studs. The standard 80 FW hubs have just enough meat to take the larger cone washers and as everyone else has said this needs to be done on a mill.
Once you upgrade to the bigger studs, you will start smashing hub gears (next weakest link) I have just ordered a set of Chromo hub gears to overcome this. I wonder what will be the next weakest link?????
