Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have some home made aluminium brush bars that I bought second hand that I want to fit to the truck. Problem is, one of the bends needs to be straightened by a small amount to get them to line up properly. I figure if I try to do it myself, I'll end up with flat spots and it will look $hit.

Is it relatively simple to un-bend it or is it a full PITA? Tube is approx 45mmOD and 2-3mm wall thickness.

once aluminium is bent once it will usually break when bent in the opposite direction.

you could try heat bet i would just start again or live with it.

What he said - depends on the grade if it will crack or not though. Only way it would even be remotely possible would be to pack it full of sand, block the ends, and then heat and bend - then cool down quickly afterwards so it doesn't become too brittle.

D'oh!!! It only has to go a few degrees... its the difference between the bracket being at the bottom of the bullbar or half way up where it looks like it should be. (Bullbar suits 2in bodylift)
